Passing your FE Exam is IN the Preparation ITSELF
Let’s completely redefine what FE exam success really means!
FE exam success lies in the preparation, not in preparing for success. In other words,
Success isn’t something that happens after preparation; success is within the preparation itself.
Let me give you a few examples of this, relating it back to everyday life.
As a personal example, many students ask me, “How did you record so many videos?!” “Are you insane?!” Now that I think about it, I didn’t and don’t really plan to create new content for the end goal of creating the “perfect course.” The pursuit and motivation of creating videos was the goal itself. Instinctively, I knew that adding problems, removing problems, explaining concepts better, and using feedback I get from my students is how a successful course is built. So it’s not necessarily by the number of videos (quantity); rather, the pursuit is rooted in creating quality content, which added up over years to the course we have today.
Now onto happiness. Do we pursuit happiness or is happiness in the pursuit? I will let you ponder on this one.
I can’t resist. Here’s one last example we all pursue. Relationships!!! Again, why do we seek relationships? Is it for the relationship itself? Definitely not. It’s for the experience, which slowly makes up a meaningful relationship. The ups/downs, the sad/happy moments, and the shared experience we can have with another person as long as values align.
You get the motto right? When you study for the FE exam, redefine what success means to you. Dedication, discipline, and consistency are what will motivate you through the process. Practicing a tiny bit each day, testing yourself with quizzes and practice exams, reflecting on your mistakes while learning from them, asking curious questions, and seeking knowledge. Those are the real markers of success. Not getting the problem right and definitely not passing the exam.

And that’s evident by the statements I hear from many students who have successfully pulled off the right preparation. They often say things like this to me:
“It took hard work, sacrifice, and pulling the trigger.”
“Going through the pain of doing one problem after another, and it was just exhausting, but I pulled through. This was my life for now; I had to just do it.”
“I knew I had to be consistent because winging it was not an option.”
“The knowledge I am learning made me feel better, and I feel like I am regaining my confidence.”
“I have a renewed vigor for engineering and the world around me. Using your course truly made learning fun again!”
