Highly recommend taking this course. Really helped simulate the feel for the exam and the questions were very similar. I have taken other courses before but this one I think is the most organized and detailed. Just have to stay motivated and keep consistent with following the videos. At least an hour or 2 a day should be enough.

First let me start by saying Farouq is an amazing teacher and he genuinely cares that you learn and understand all material required to pass the FE Civil exam. The exam may be daunting, but for the entirety of the course Farouq has curated questions and lectures for specific topics you will encounter on the exam. The sheer amount of material alone on DirectHub is amazing. It is really a one stop shop. Coupled with Farouq’s one on one and close guidance (he answered every single one of my questions in detail), this is a fountain of knowledge developed especially for the FE exam. I tried studying on my own and had to push back the dates. I never felt prepared. After taking this course seriously for about 4 months my scheduled test date (January 2024) had approached. Although I felt like I wanted to study more and more, I stuck with the date and passed.

I give Farouq a lot of credit but of course it requires work on your own part as well. I had to sacrifice a lot of time out of my schedule and dedicate it to studying. Only great things to say about this course. I graduated university with a Bachelors of Environmental Science because I wasn’t able to keep up with the challenging engineering courses. I would recommend 100% DIRECTHUB those who are planning to take and I say it because its economical compared with all other courses and its very content oriented. Professor Farouq covered all the topics that are needed to prepare for this test. Very well organized and well structured material and practice problems. I don’t have any thing to complaint or to suggest on this course. I took 3 months course and studied every day for at least 1-2 hours mostly and 5-6 hours during weekends. I thought the course was very helpful and believe it helped me pass. I work full time so it was a lot to study after work, but having a guided route was the best option for me. I didnt come across the course until I was 2 weeks away from my test, and ended up doing a month and rescheduling my test for a later date to use the course for the full month. I dont think I would have passed at the original date. If I could do it again I would just do the 3 months of the course and be less stressed overall.
